“Love handles” is a term used to describe that area around your waist that allows for others to grab on to you, as if it was a handle rather than a lump of extra fat and skin.

There is a genetic factor which determines where fat is stored in your body. For some people, this will be the hips or the buttock. Even the thighs can be the target area for fat deposits. Whilst nobody wants to have larger hips or a big backside, the fact is that it is healthier for a person to have fat there then around their mid section.
